"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources." - Albert Einstein
This long running Off Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. Martin plays fast and loose with fact, fame and fortune as these two geniuses muse on the century's achievements and prospects as well as other fanciful topics with infectious dizziness.

Keith Sampino -- (Einstein) makes his third appearance here at Monmouth Players and his first with a Not Neccesarily the Players production. He has been seen here as Val in Laughter On The 23rd Floor last year and as Gerald Croft in this year’s production of An Inspector Calls. Other favorite roles include Nick Cristano in Over The River And Through The Woods, Lawyer Craven in Sly Fox and Ezra Chater in Arcadia. He would like to thank Paul for giving him the unexpected pleasure of playing one of the more interesting (and quotable) characters in history. He would like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work to make this all possible.

Kevin Vislocky -- (Picasso) This is Kevin’s third production with Monmouth Players in 2006 and fourth overall. He last appeared back in October as Eric Birling in An Inspector Calls. His other two Monmouth performances were Over The River And Through The Woods (Nick) and Laughter On The 23rd Floor (Lucas). Other favorite past roles include Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing, Owen Musseur in The Foreigner, Richard in The Seven Year Itch, Major Arnold in Taking Sides, Pale in Burn This, and Mozart in Amadeus. Thanks to Paul, Dot and everyone who had a hand in putting this production together for all the fun and laughs that were had along the way. Thank You for coming.Hope you enjoy the show!

Jacqueline Schreiber -- (Suzanne, Countess, Admirer) is pleased to be performing in her second Monmouth Players production, having recently been seen as Sheila, in An Inspector Calls. Previously she has appeared in The Laramie Project (multiple parts), The Hollow (Doris), The Prisoner Of Second Avenue (Jesse), and original murder mysteries. Additionally, she has performed in musical reviews and productions including Fiddler On The Roof (Tzeitel), Oklahoma!, The Most Happy Fella, and The Merry Widow, among others. Jacqueline recently made her directorial debut, with A Sunny Morning, and also sings with The Monmouth Civic Chorus (Red Bank.) She has worked as a database designer, and studies acting at HB Studio, in NYC. Thanks to Paul and the cast for a wonderful experience!

Paul Starkey -- (Sagot) has been loitering around Monmouth Players for about 10 years. Most recently he played Virgil Blessing in Bus Stop, but other MP favorites include Don't Drink The Water (Walter Hollander), Rumors (Lenny) and Deathtrap (Sidney). Paul's interest in music has led him this year to play Sir Danvers in Jekyll & Hyde and Mr. Bumble in Oliver in other local theatre groups, and he has also been heard in the past playing guitar and piano at MP productions. Paul is very happy to be back at MP with whats-his-name and whats-her-name and the other guy. Thanks to all those who have put up with this crazy sideline all these years, especially Fer. Ya sabes.

Jim Walsh -- (Visitor) is happy to be back at Monmouth Players and is honored to be playing a legend. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support. Also, to the audience he would like to say thank you, "Thank you, very much."

Lori Renick -- (Germaine) hopes that you enjoy this year's fourth production. It is always a pleasant challenge looking for new and different things to present to you, the audience. In chosing Steve Martin's well written (and brilliant) comedy, she hopes that you will be driven to think a little and laugh a lot (the cast and crew certainly did). Thank you for all your support. Enjoy the holidays!!

Fortunato Seveninni -- (Freddy) "Forty-seven" has appeared in four previous productions with the Monmouth Players. First as the loony Martini in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, then sarcastic Milt in Laughter On the 23rd Floor, patriarch Frank in Over The River and various roles during An Evening Of One Acts. He would like to thank Paul and Dot for their guidance and vision for his character. His wife and children Karininni, Kyleninni and Cassininni for their help in preparing him for this role as well as the rest of cast (not neccessarily in order of appearance) for making the last eight weeks so memorable. Most importantly he wishes to express his thanks to you the patrons, whereas before you arrived he was standing in a room of dullards, he now stands in a room of completely fascinating people with opinions.

Bill Golda -- (Schmendiman) This is Bill’s third appearance with the Not Necessarily the Monmouth Players. He was Turkel in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and Harvey in Judgement Call in last year’s A Night of One Acts. Bill would like to thank Paul, Dean, Dot and Lori for their confidence in him and for the opportunity to perform again. He would like to thank his wife Nancy, son Darren, and daughter Cindi for their inspiration, love and support. And a special thanks to his friend, Larry. Here’s another fine mess you’ve gotten me into!

Dean Anderson -- (Gaston) is happy to be returning to the Monmouth Players stage where he last appeared in I’m Herbert (Herbert). He has been on the Players Board of Directors for several years. His participation in over 50 Monmouth Players productions runs the gamut from directing to cleaning the restrooms.
