Emilio N. Cutaneo -- (Guy, Norman) is making his return to the stage after a 10 year hiatus. He wishes he didn't wait that long, but is very happy that his comeback is beginning with the fine group of people at the Monmouth Players. They have truly made him feel welcome. Emilio's past credits include A Few Good Men (Marine Corp. Harold Dawson), You Can't Take It With You (Tony Kirby), California Suite (Stu), Bye Bye Birdie (Hugo), and his stage debut--and personal favorite--Extremities (Raul). He would like to thank his entire family, especially Marilyn, Daniel and Serena, for supporting his passion for acting. It certainly won't be another 10 years before the next show.
Alex Faerman -- (Joe2, Sal) is thrilled to be back on stage after a year long hiatus. This is his eighth production with the Monmouth Players and he currently serves as Vice President of the board. Some of his favorite past roles include Randall McMurphy in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and Bo Decker in Bus Stop. He would like to give a special thanks to Paul and Lori for their support and warm wishes. He would also like to thank his beautiful wife, Elsie and his loving parents for all their love.
Amy Garland -- (Ada, Aimee) is thrilled to be joining this wonderful cast in her first production with Monmouth Players. She appeared last as Sheila in Jake's Women with Spotlight Players. She is a professional cellist and is a member of the Gramercy Arts Ensemble. In addition to playing concerts, their schedule includes weddings, parties, receptions and cooperate events. Previous to the Gramercy Arts Ensemble, she was a ten year member with the Orchestra of Saint Peters By The Sea. Amy lives in Wayside with her husband and three children. She would sincerely like to thank the Monmouth Players for this great opportunity.
Bill Golda -- (Lou, Lester) This is Bill’s official first appearance with The Monmouth Players. He was seen previously in the last several performances of The Not Necessarily the Players as Turkel in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Harvey in Judgement Call in the 2005 A Night of One Acts and recently, (his favorite character so far), Charles Dabernow Schmediman in Picasso at the Lapine Agile. Bill would like to thank Paul, Lori, Dean and Rachel for their confidence in him and for the opportunity to perform again, this time in the “real production”. He would like to thank his wife Nancy, son Darren, and daughter Cindi for their inspiration, love and support and of course, to Larry who started it all! Larry, the royalty check is in the mail!
Tim Kelsey -- (Larry, Joe, Mark) returns to Monmouth Players after a lengthy absence. He has appeared in many productions on various stages throughout the area. He sends a very big “thank you” to the directors, crew and everyone at Monmouth Players involved in this project. Tim especially extends his kind appreciation to the talented and gracious cast for letting him share their time in the spotlight.
Siobhan Krier -- (June, Ellen and Lorraine) Love is Siobhan’s first show with the Monmouth Players and she is thrilled to be working with such a talented group. Recently, Siobhan appeared in Rumors (Claire). Other favorites include A Few Good Men (Jo), The Foreigner (Catherine), Lend Me a Tenor (Maggie), A Girls Guide to Chaos (Cynthia), Crimes of the Heart (Chick) and touring with The Shoestring Players. Siobhan has also enjoyed directing shows, including Sylvia, Guilty Conscience, Lover’s Leap and One Act Wonders. Siobhan would like to thank H.P., who has shown her that all endings are new beginnings, and everyone else who has helped her along the way!
Paul Renick -- (Russ) has been with the Monmouth Players, in various capacities since 1993. President of the group since 1997, Paul has long realized that the most important part of community theater is providing our audience with a memorable theatrical experience. When we strive for that goal, everything else falls neatly into place. Thank you to Lori, for more than sixteen years of patience and love.
Mary Russell -- (Flora, Woman) is very happy to be cast in her first role with the Monmouth Players. Her most recent appearance was in an original comedy, Grandma’s Getting Married and Wait Until Dark (Susy Hendrix) with Phoenix Productions. Some favorite roles include Susy Hendrix in Wait Until Dark and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing. Mary has been involved in community theater for the past 15 years, primarily in Southern NJ. She was a founding member for a theater group in South Jersey And has worn hats in Makeup, Props, Set Construction and administrative tasks. She would like to thank her friends for their support and enthusiasm in her performances. Mary would also like to thank Scott for his love, support and comic relief to help keep her sane during the crazy moments!!!
Sharon Saks -- (Agnes) was last seen here at Monmouth Players in their debut Night Of One Acts. She has performed on this stage since the early 80's. 84 Charring Cross Road was the first. Some others include Design For Murder, a Tallulah Bankhead vehicle, The Lost Elf, an original play by Paul and Lori Renick, Dial M For Matrimony and Return Engagements. She wishes to thank Lori and Dean for this opportunity and her stage boyfriend John for all his help. Love as always to Bill.
Rachel M. Scalzo -- (Julie, Sara, Ellen2, Margaret) is thrilled to be back on stage with the Monmouth Players after a two year hiatus. You may remember her from Dancing at Lughnasa (Maggie), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Nurse Ratched) or The Laramie Project (various roles). Rachel is an English and Theater teacher at Saint John Vianney High School, where she also directs two productions per year. Some of her directorial credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Grease and Into the Woods. She also spends time acting and directing with The Good Foot Players of First Assembly of God in Shrewsbury in their annual Christmas and Easter productions. Rachel is excited to be working with some old friends and especially thankful for the opportunity to have The Ladies’ Man see the stage. She would like to thank the Players for welcoming her back with open arms and giving her the chance to write, direct and act for this production. She would also like to thank her parents for being her biggest fans, her sisters for knowing her so well, Tim for understanding her other passion and the patrons for all their support.
Fortunato Seveninni -- (Darrell, Dude, Jonathon, Ben) is happy to be given the opportunity to entertain for y'all again. Born and bread in Kentucky, he feels back home using his normal speaking voice in Electric Roses and hopes yuze guyz enjoyed his attempt at a Brooklyn accent in Hurry. For this Ladies Man its not just The Some of All Parts that attracts him to the Monmouth Players, but the sincere warmth and gratitude that you, the patrons have that makes him feel that Love is in the Air everytime he performs on the stage.
John Sheehan -- (Perry, Harry) is happy to be a part of an evening of one act plays. He appeared in the one acts presented last year and enjoyed the experience. He has appeared in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Dancing At Lughnasa, Verdict, Over the River And Through The Woods, and An Inspector Calls. As always, Audrey has provided active support in developing his role.
